If necessary, Russian law allows creating a company with foreign investment – i.e. such a company which will be founded by foreign legal bodies or individuals.
Most Russian companies with foreign capital are established as LLC – Limited Liability Company and CC – Closed Corporation.
Such companies can be managed by both Russian and foreign citizens. Take into consideration that if a head of the company is an alien and he is not one of the founders, he will have to obtain permission to work in Russia (FMS).
Registration of companies with foreign participants is similar to the procedure of enterprise registration with one hundred percent of Russian capital and independent of its organizational and legal form.
